Say Yes!
‘Say Yes’ is Lod’s spring exhibition focusing on everything that surrounds a ‘Wedding’. Opening on the 12th April, ‘Engagement’ focuses on rings, jewellery and celebratory coffee. Everything in and around an engagement has been realized in metal for part 1. ‘Wedding’ opens on the 26th April with tiaras, bridesmaids’ jewellery, wedding rings and wedding giftsin silver! This is an exhibition with everything to give inspiration for the big day.

An important and very personal side to LOD is the part that each designer gives when they design and create unique engagement and wedding rings for couples. It is both challenging and engaging to work alongside two people in trying to create the perfect rings that mirror the personalities and emotions whilst also symbolising the commitment of marriage. It is this side of LOD that has given the inspiration to the exhibition ‘Say Yes’.
LOD is constituted of six individual designer/makers that specialise in offering unique interpretations – ‘one offs’ in everything metal.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to everyone – married, single, or ‘in a relationship’ to ‘Say Yes’ LOD’s spring exhibition.
Contemporary Danish Silver at LOD
Sidsel Dorph Jensen and Lone Lovschal, collectively known as Konglomerat, are LOD’s first guest exhibitors with the aptly titled ‘Suppe – Steg – Is’.
Sidsel and Lone explain that ‘Soup – Steak – Ice Cream’ is a very Danish way of summarizing and describing the food that hosts entertain their guests with at dinner parties.
‘Suppe – Steg – Is’ opens on the 2nd February with both Sidsel and Lone ‘på plats’ at LOD to talk about their work. The exhibition runs until the 2nd March and we at LOD would like to extend a warm welcome to everyone with a love for food and a sparkle for silver.
Bombs and Grenades!
Erik Tidäng shows his jewellery at the same time as Ulrich Reithofers is exhibiting at Galleri Hnoss.
The exhibition opens on the 2nd February and runs until the 26th March. Galleri Hnoss is situated at the area of Konstepedemin in Gothenburg. www.konstepedemin.com
